Here is a general timeline of the email preparation process:

  • 21 days prior to email send: Department sends request for an email with 21-day notice
  • 19: Drea schedules email into existing calendar, balancing other email sends that are already in the queue
  • 15: Drea crafts the email and sends it to Mike for big picture messaging review. 
  • 8: Drea sends the edited version to the department along with brief rationale for any changes
  • 5: Drea sends the final version to Heidi for final polishing
  • 3: Heidi returns material to Drea
  • 2: Drea sends to Catherine and Sarah to test links, final check;
  • 0: Email gets sent
